A downloadable game
You are a Private Detective, you scored the easiest case in the world. All you have to do is sit in a sleepy town and wait. On your first day of what you believe is doing nothing and getting paid for it, you get roped into doing a little bit of private detecting for someone, which should only take a few days. Hence the name of the game.
Once word gets around that there is a Private Detective in town, a few people start showing up with their petty small-town problems, none of them can afford to actually pay what a Private Detective normally charges, but one by one you keep getting sucked into it, realizing slowly that all is not what it seems.

I am encountering an annoying bug when I click on "Phone" when it rings the morning after the day I found out Jasmine was adopted by Jenny Jones and she is lover with Lynda, I get stuck into an endless loop of a short piece of a song while my character stars at his phone and I cannot move the scene forward, why is that? Why do I get stuck staring at my phone forever without doing anything?
And why does Arthur Knight's wife who has been named Helen from the start get suddenly and unexplainably named Pippa out of nowhere?
So I seem to have an loop happening with the episode 6 update, right after the two girls and the MC are talking about a painting it jumps back to the day prior to it. Any idea on how to fix this?
Did you get the bit where you go and see Yumi at her place, I have discovered I have made a mistake around that which could be related to your problem. (there is now a fix for that on the dev log page)
Thanks, that’s what messed me up, I didn’t go to Yumi at all.
After downloading the fix I'm still having the same issues, I'm about to delete the whole game and redownload it and start all over again to see if that fixes it. Should I download the regular episode 6 or the one with bug fix?
I'll re upload the whole thing in a few hours from typing this, I'll reply again when I have done so.
I removed the whole option about Yumi, you will now just go and see her (click on car). When you get back, see the CSI girls and you should just go back to the kitchen and a lounge icon will appear. I have just updated the original link.
